Good location, an easy walk into the centre of Richmond. Parking easier than in the middle of town. Very quiet. Breakfast prepared to order - well cooked and presented. Yoghurt, fruit and cereal also plentiful.
In the very hot weather, it would have been better if the bedroom window could be opened.

Location good, service excellent
Probably the only thing would have been better to have an upstairs room.

The hotel was a comfortable base for enjoying a local area, short walk to a popular local pub, centre of town and public transport connections. The room was welcoming and wonderful, included with the main bed was huge and stunning view. The breakfast had a lot of selection, the food was different.

fantastic central pub with easy access to richmond's attractions
I loved how comfortable my stay was with a lovely view of the castle and the warm welcome we received from the locals and Diana, who made us feel right at home, making it perfect for a city stroll to explore nearby gems like the Richmondshire Museum and the beautiful Friary Gardens just a short walk away.

During my recent stay, I found the charm of the area incredibly inviting, especially the breathtaking views and friendly atmosphere. The homemade pies served in the dining area were delightful and the room itself was spotlessly clean, which added to the overall positive vibe. it was slightly disappointing that housekeeping missed cleaning my room and there was no hairdryer available. it didn’t spoil my experience, as the staff went above and beyond to accommodate me with a late-night meal. I'll definitely consider coming back!

You can't beat the charm of home-made pies and luscious jams around here! Plus, the spotlessly clean rooms were a delight, and the friendly team were really nice with a late-night meal for me. Those views over Richmond? Pure magic!

We had a wonderful time enjoying the cozy atmosphere and the delicious halloumi skewers served during dinner, which were a real treat. The garden area offered plenty of space for a relaxing stroll and a lovely spot to sip some evening drinks. Just a heads up, the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty, but it didn’t take away from our enjoyable stay! 🌿

I had an lovely meal with a generous breakfast that was cooked to perfection. The real ales were great. I loved relaxing in the beer garden while soaking up the good views and enjoying the cozy seating. The only downside was the slightly noisy bar area at times, but it didn't take away from the overall fantastic experience. 🌟

We had a wonderful time! The most memorable part was the friendly atmosphere—the staff were just lovely and made us feel right at home 😊. The only downside was the beds could be more comfy.
